Chris has worked in sport and exercise medicine for the last 7 years. He has had previous roles with the Frankston Dolphins VFL club, Southern Saints VFLW club and Oakleigh Chargers Football club. He has extensive experience in track and field as both a doctor and competitor and currently competes for athletics Essendon in 100-400m sprints. Prior to commencing sport and exercise medicine training, Chris worked as an emergency department doctor and still engages in emergency department work on a regular basis. This background has also led to involvement in combat sports such as MMA medical coverage as well as motocross and horse racing. Prior to studying medicine, Chris worked as an Osteopath, Personal trainer and athletics coach.
Chris is passionate about keeping people active and facilitating people of all ages and levels of fitness in reaching their goals. He has a particular interest in lower limb and running related injuries. Away from sport, Chris enjoys spending time with his young family.
