- Bachelor of Health Science in Podiatry (Auckland University)
- Keen interest in treating all foot and ankle issues in athletes of all levels
Brian graduated in New Zealand and has built a robust career in podiatry, focusing on musculoskeletal injuries and rehabilitation. He has gained valuable experience in multidisciplinary clinics, collaborating with sports physicians, orthopedic surgeons, and physiotherapists. This exposure has equipped him to handle a wide range of musculoskeletal issues, from simple to complex cases, and has allowed him to work with high-profile national and professional sports teams, including the All Blacks and Super Rugby 18 teams. Additionally, Brian was a member of the Waikato amputation service team, where he gained experience in the treatment and management of severe trauma patients.
Brian also has been involved in training and the mentorship of the podiatrists, being part of the clinical advisory group for the podiatry group in New Zealand.
As an avid runner himself, having participated in several half marathons and a triathlon, Brian is well-equipped to understand common running-related problems and foot and ankle injuries.
After nearly a decade of practice in New Zealand, Brian relocated to Melbourne to join Melbourne Podiatry Clinic in 2024 to embark on a new chapter in his career.
