With a strong background in sport, particularly Gaelic football, Conleth brings personal experience to his clinical practice. Conleth is currently playing for a GAA club in Melbourne, and he played at club level in Ireland for Bellaghy, and represented his county, Derry, at both underage and senior levels. His experience in competitive sport has helped shape his passion for assessing and managing sports and musculoskeletal injuries.
Originally from Bellaghy in County Derry, Ireland, Conleth is a dedicated podiatrist with a strong interest in sports and musculoskeletal podiatry. After completing a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Podiatry at the University of Ulster, Conleth further expanded his expertise by completing a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Ultrasound (Musculoskeletal) at AECC University College, Bournemouth (now Health Sciences University) as part of a master’s programme in Medical Ultrasound. Conleth is accredited by CASE (Consortium for the Accreditation of Sonographic Education), the recognised UK governing body for musculoskeletal (foot and ankle) ultrasound.
Conleth has a special interest in sports injuries, musculoskeletal conditions, and biomechanical assessments. He also enjoys paediatric podiatry, with a particular interest in managing conditions such as Sever’s disease and Osgood-Schlatter syndrome. His approach is personalised and evidence-based, helping patients recover from injury, improve performance, and return to activity with confidence.
